Hunting / Fishing Lodge Décor
Share some good stories about the “ones that got away”
while drinking a frosty brew!
- Wood floors are a great start.
- Choose brown leather sofas and chairs with tables or ottomans to put you feet up after a long day outdoors.
- Use area rugs, throws, and pillows in shades of deep greens, burgundy, and browns.
- A fireplace is a plus but if you don’t have one, look at free-standing fireplaces or wood stoves that are available.
- Decorate your walls with rods, baskets, and small fishing nets.
- Hang metal signs with pictures of ducks, retrievers, labs, bears, and North American wildlife on them.
- Display tap handles with fishing and hunting themes – don’t forget to use them!
- Fish, deer, and other animal trophies can be hung on the wall If you like the look but not the hunt, many resin trophy heads are available.
- Use duck decoys on shelves.
- Look for rustic shelves, even some with bark still attached.
- Choose a rustic bar mirror.
- If you have a cooking area, hang cast iron skillets on the wall in a pleasant but reachable arrangement.
- Display mugs with pictures of ducks, bears, deer, moose, wild game birds, retrievers, etc.
- Welcome your friends with a banner stating “Welcome Hunters.”
