British Pub Theme
· Go with rich dark wood when choosing furniture (tables, chairs, stools, the bar) for that cozy pub feeling.
· Hang the country’s flag. Hang a Union Jack for an English pub or an Irish flag for an Irish style pub. You can hang them on the wall, frame them, or use a flagpole and a stand.
- Hang a British brand neon sign for soft light. Keep things on the dark side.
- Cover large areas with a banner advertising your favorite British brand.
- Use British brand mirrors on the wall behind the bar.
- Fill in spaces on the wall with framed maps or old documents from Great Britain. Also, use metal signs with British brands, both authentic and reproductions.
- Framed sports memorabilia like score cards, soccer or rugby jerseys can add an authentic flavor to the room. Sports equipment like cricket bats can also be used. Dart boards can add an element of fun or danger depending on who’s playing!
- Tap handles can be used on stands as decorative touches or on your kegerator.
- British logo pint glasses are perfect for serving your favorite British brew.
- Hang beer trays on the wall or stand empty pint glasses on the trays for decoration.
- Finish off the accessories with bar mats and bar towels sporting your favorite British brand.
